High Heels help cause Low Back Pain Walking or standing with high heels on causes the knees to lock out (verses staying soft). This causes the pelvis to rotate so the glutes stick out along with the belly. With the body shifting forward and then backward to keep balance; which causes the spine (especially the lumbar, lower spine) to have an excessive curvature. If the abdominal muscles are not strong enough to counter-act this movement, there is low back pain. |
PLEASE REMEMBER: - Have great posture - Drink your water - Stretch daily - Strengthen daily - Walk/ swim/ jog at least 3xs a week for 25 minutes - Take a weekly epsom salt bath - Play as much as you work
